Throughout an international career I’ve built and managed teams in-house and at agencies. My deep understanding of both design and business helps me guide teams and stakeholders to the best solutions. Getting there might take brainstorming sessions, workshops, sprints, presentations, prototypes, or rolling up my sleeves and creating design options. I’m trusted as a creative partner at the intersection of strategy, messaging, analytics, UX, and design. I understand how to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment, and how to design my way out.

Born in Germany, I started my career in Berlin, married in Istanbul, and moved to California in 2011. I’ve learned to adapt quickly to different cultural and business contexts, embrace diversity, and continue to build the most important skill there is for a design leader: empathy.
